Picture books can assist elementary, middle, and high school readers in building background knowledge and visual literacy, and they are also deeply engaging. The array of topics presented in picture books provides many opportunities to explore different paths for learning, building conversation, and getting excited about reading. We will show you how to implement Page Turners Make Great Learners' framework to demonstrate how ot use a picture book as a tool to teach the standards across grade bands.
